In december 2011 I took my PhD at the VU-Universiity of Amsterdam.
I continue developing new instruments of empowerment photography in the service of mental health care. Together with Ingrid Bogert I developed 'Look at Me!': a journey of discovery made by a person with SMI together with his or her mentor nurse, a search for one's strengths, preferences, wishes and values.The journey is photographed by a professional photographer.
